Industrial museum that shows world of Tobu Railway

If you visit Tobu Museum of Transport and Culture, you can see a train car of "Kegon," limited express of Tobu Railway.

It is an industrial museum of transportation. You can see historic trains and buses that played important roles in history of Tobu Railway. It is great to drive simulators in a virtual world. There is also a diorama of railway and town. It is also wonderful to see the wheels of Tobu train cars that moves around Higashi-Mukojima Station from Watching Promenade.

Project exhibitions are held occasionally. "History of Tobu Railway 8000 Series 1963-2013" (from November 1, 2013 (Friday) to January 13, 2014 (Monday)) displayed historic posters about Tobu Railway 8000 Series.

Outside the museum, there is a steam locomotive across from the main street.

It opened in 1989 as the 90th anniversary of Tobu Railway. It is a middle-sized private industrial museum at commercial area adjacent to Higashi-Mukojima station in Higashi-Mukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Higashi-Mukojima station.
