New observatory that has become new landmark of Tokyo since 2012

If you visit Tokyo Skytree, you can look up the tallest free-standing broadcasting tower in the world.

It is a new landmark in Tokyo with 634 meter high. It is overwhelming to see magnificent 360-degree panorama from Tembo Deck at 350 meter high and from Tembo Galleria at 450 meter high. It is impressive to recognize how high it is, looking over high-rise buildings in Tokyo. It is also thrilling to see the ground below through Glass Floor at Tembo Deck. It is interesting to see the landscape around Sumida River including Sakurabashi River.

It is also enjoyable to see Tokyo Skytree from its surrounding area. In particular, its scenery with fireworks on Sumida River Firework Festival in summer is beautiful. It is lighten-up at night.

It opened in 2012. It is a large private observatory at TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN® in Oshiage, Sumida City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Tokyo-Skytree station.
