1: to see panoramic view of downtown Tokyo

Observatory with panoramic view of Tokyo from east side

If you visit Tower Hall Funabori Observation Tower, you can see Tokyo Skytree® and skyscrapers in downtown Tokyo.

It is 115 meter high. The architectural building is designed as the image of sail boat. You can go to the observatory from the 7th floor to Observation Tower by special elevator, after going up to the 7th floor from the 1st floor by general elevator. It is enjoyable to see the display that shows height and speed in the special elevator.

It is great to see the 360-degree scenic view including Tsukuba Mountain to the north, Chiba Port Tower to the east, Ferris wheel of Kasai Rinkai Park to the south and Tokyo Skytree® to the west. In particular, as the distance between Tokyo Skytree® and this observatory is appropriate, it is enjoyable to recognize the height of Tokyo Skytree® clearly. It is wonderful to see the skyscrapers in the center of Tokyo beyond Edogawa River.

There are not any restrooms in the observatory, while there are some restrooms in Tower Hall Funabori Building.

It opened in 1999. It is a small public observatory of Edogawa City at commercial area in Funabori, Edogawa City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Funabori station.
