1: to see the modern main hall

Branch temple of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Monzen-Nakacho

If you visit Fukagawa Fudoson Temple, you can see both new and old Buddhist Temple halls in temple grounds.

Its temple grounds consist of Main Hall, Old Main Hall, Buddha Hall and so on. New Main Hall is a modern cuboid architecture constructed in 2012, while Old Main Hall is a traditional Japanese-style architecture of Buddhist temple.

It is well-known as a branch Buddhist temple of Narita-san Shinshoji Temple in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. It is also called "Fukagawa Fudodou Temple." Historically, the first special worships for the principle image of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple was held in 1703 during Edo Period (1603-1867).

It is a small Buddhist temple of Shingon Sect at commercial area in Monzen-Nakacho, Koto City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Monzen-Nakacho station.

This temple is located next to Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine. You can also go to Kiyosumi Gardens, Fukagawa Edo Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo within a walking distance.
