Central place of tennis in Tokyo bay area

If you visit Ariake Colosseum, you can see tennis matches on match days.

It is known as the central place of tennis in Japan.

Large tennis tournaments are held at this stadium.

Top players in the world play at Rakuten Open Tennis Tournament. Mr. Kei Nishikori (1989-Present) won the championship in 2014.

Also, Devis Cup, international tennis match, was held in 2014. "Japan vs Canada," the first round of world group, was held in late January and early February. "Japan vs Czech," quarter final, was held in April.

Also, basketball games are held. In particular, this stadium has a history that the first game of bj-league was held in 2005.

It is a majestic architectural building. As it is close between arena and seats, it is possible to feel realistic sensation in this stadium. Due to adequate slope, it is enjoyable to see the games from any seats. It is a all-weather stadium with openable roof.

It is a large public multi-purpose stadium that has 10,000 seats owned by Tokyo Metropolis. It opened in 1987 at Ariake-Tennis-no-Mori Park in Tokyo Seaside Area. It is located in Ariake, Koto City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Ariake-Tennis-no-Mori Station and so on.
