Science Museum that shows performance by ASIMO

If you visit National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, you can see performance of a robot called ASIMO at the robot world.

It is interesting to see ASIMO kicks a ball and dances, keeping good balance of bipedal walking.

It holds regular exhibition and project exhibition.

In regular exhibition, it is wonderful to see displays and demonstration of latest technology including space and deep sea. In particular, exhibition corners about "Shinkai 6500," "International Space Station" and "Super-Kamiokande" are impressive. Also, it is interesting to operate Geo-Scope, the flat screen, that shows various kinds of information related to the earth. For example, it is possible to watch the changing screen images accoring to the global climate change from 1850 to 2100 on the basis of past record and future projection about air temperature.

At the symbol zone near the entrance, it is awesome to see various kinds of screen images on Geo-Cosmos, a spherical screen. For example, it is surprising to watch the screen images of "The Movements" about flight, shipping and land routes on the earth, that shows people are moving around the world.

At Dome Theatre Gaia, it is enjoyable to see screen images. When purchasing a ticket, it is possible to select the program to watch. For example, it is great to see "Birthday," 3D screen images about the universe.

"The Sekai-Ichi -Unique Inspirations, Made in Japan-" (from December 7, 2013 (Saturday) to May 6, 2014 (Tuesday, national holiday)) was a special exhibition. Excellent products in many kinds of fields were displayed. In particular, it was surprising to see the world of microtechnology.
