Observatory that has Open-Air Sky Deck to see from center of Tokyo

If you visit Roppongi Hills Tokyo City View, you can see the scenery from the central part of Tokyo.

It is an observatory that has open-air Sky Deck at the roof floor, feeling light and wind at the height of 238 meter, 270 meter above the sea level.

It consists of Sky Deck at the roof floor as well as Indoor Tembo Galleria at the 52nd floor. Sky Deck is almost as high as neighboring Special Observatory of Tokyo Tower.

It is great to see the 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo including Ikebukuro to the north, Shiodome to the east, Shinagawa to the south, and Shibuya to the west from Sky Deck in the central part of Tokyo without taking care of window frames.

In particular, it is overwhelming to see the landscape with Tokyo Tower to the east and Odaiba area to the southeast. It is also impressive to realize how high Tokyo Skytree® is, seeing the surrounding major areas of Tokyo that is considerably far removed from one another. Moreover, it is interesting to find how far it is between Roppongi and Shibuya, seeing Route 3 Shibuya Line to the west.

If the weather permits, it is possible to see Mt. Fuji to the west. It is great to see the sunset to the mountain areas including Mt. Fuji behing the plain land in Tama area, the western part of Tokyo.

Night scenery is beautiful. In particular, the night scenery with Tokyo Tower and Odaiba area such as Ferris Wheel at Pallet Town and the Headquarters Building of Fuji TV is colorful. The illumination of the night game at Jingu Stadium is bright on baseball game days.

Also, it is possible to see beautiful landscape from Indoor Tembo Galleria. A part of Indoor Tembo Galleria is a spacious area with a high ceiling. It is not too hot in summer and too cold in winter, protected from strong winds. After purchasing a ticket, it is supposed to the 52nd floor from the 3rd floow by elevator.

It opened in 2003. It is a large private observatory at commercial area in Roppongi, Minato City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Roppongi Station.
