The museum that shares the World of Doraemon
If you visit Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum, you can see animation works by Fujiko・F・Fujio, a cartoon artist, who drew masterpieces including "Doraemon" and "Perman." (Fujiko・F・Fujio is a pen name of Mr. Hiroshi Fujimoto (1933-1996).)
In this museum, there are replicated colored drafts of his cartoon works at Exhibition Room 1, his replicated work room at "Fujiko・F・Fujio's Room," "Dokodemo Door" at open-air "Harappa" field, and a short movie. "You can appreciate the displays, listening to the voice guidance of "Ohanashi Denwa (Talking Telephone)"
It is impressive to see a square piece of signiture board on that Mr. Osamu Tezuka (1928-1989) drew "Doraemon" in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Fujiko・F・Fujio as a cartoon artist.
Interesting exhibitions are held at Exhibition Room 2. "Doraemon Original Artwork Exhibition" (from July 9, 2014 (Wednesday) to January 18, 2015 (Thursday)) showed the drafts of Doraemon including "Good-Bye Doraemon" and "Doraemon Returns."
You can also watch an original short movie on the 200-inch wide screen at "F Theatre, while the movie occasionally changes.
It opened in 2011. It is located in Ikuta Ryokuchi, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its nearest station is Shukugawara station and so on.
