Science Theme Park that shows images of great nature

If you visit Orbi Yokohama, you can experience the world of "-20 degree" at corner at "-89.2 corner."

It is overwhelming to experience the world of "-20 degree," feeling the wind with 20 meter per second at the room with 0 degree after adjusting at the room with 10 degrees.

It is an experience-oriented science theme park with the collaboration of BBC Earth and Sega at the 5th floor of MARK IS Minatomirai. There are various kinds of attractions such as Exhibition Zone and Theatre 23.4.

At exhibition zone, it is great to know the wonder and rigor of nature through various kinds of images. At the corner of "40,000," it was wonderful to see two sets of images about great nature including Grand Canyon.  Also, at the corner of "2.14," it was interesting to see the image of courtship behavior by animals including red-capped manakins.

At the theatre 23.4, it is impressive to enjoy the nature with five senses by the comprehensive production with image, sound, shake, wind, fog and smell. The image of nature shown on the screen with eight-meter high and 40-meter long. It was impressive to see the amazing ability to realize the water of the river where salmons were born in "Voyagers: Superheroes on a Never-Ending Quest".

It opened in 2013. It is a middle-sized private science theme park at commercial area in Minatomirai, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its nearest station is Minatomirai station.
