Dome stadium where baseball games including Yomiuri Giants are held

If you visit Tokyo Dome, you can watch a baseball game of Yomiuri Giants on game days.

It is a multi-purpose stadium. There are a wide variety of events including baseball games and popular music concerts.

In particular, as the home stadium of Yomiuri Giants that belongs to Central League, history of Japanese baseball including traditional "Yomiuri Giants VS Hanshin Tigers" games has been made at this stadium. This team has legendary history of 9 consecutive national champions of Japan Series from 1965 to 1973. In those days, Mr. Shigeo Nagashima (1936-Present) and Mr. Sadaharu Oh (1940-Present) were super stars. In 2014, this team won Central League. Mr. Tatsunori Hara (1958-Present) is team manager, and there are many star players including Mr. Shinnosuke Abe (1979-Present), Mr. Hisayoshi Chono (1984-Present), and Mr. Hayato Sakamoto (1988-Present).

In addition to Yomiuri Giants, Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters and Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles that belong to Pacific League also hold their home games.

Also, cultural events including pop music concerts are held. Sir Paul McCarthney (1942-Present) held his concerts (November 2013). Rolling Stones held concerts (February and March 2014).

It opened in 1988. It is a large private multi-purpose stadium at Tokyo Dome City with a capacity of about 46,000 people in case of baseball games in Suidobashi, Bunkyo City, Tokyo. Its nearest station is Suidobashi station.
